On this most special day, photography and videography are not things you want to leave to chance. Many brides have decided to save money in these areas, only to regret their choice after the fact. You cannot recreate those special moments...they only happen once. Having a professional photographer on hand to capture those fleeting moments is worth every penny.

What about the music?
Music sets the mood and is so important. We are so fortunate to have some excellent musicians that we can recommend for your wedding. One of our favorite musicians who works with us regularly is the guitarist Javier Rojas. Javier is from Mexico City but lives in Cancun (if you have sound on your computer, then you are listening to him now! You can turn off the music at the bottom of this page). His professionalism is outdone only by the beauty of his style and compositions. We highly recommend him for the ceremony and other times when you want quiet, lovely, evocative music.

When it's time to party, we have a few excellent Mexican groups, ranging from a mariachi band in full costume to a Latino group that plays a mix of contemporary, Mexican and South American songs. We can also highly recommend La Mata, an American-style rock and roll band. We have a trio from Veracruz who play songs on guitar and harp. And of course we have Trova groups (trios) who play the romantic ballads that are native to the Yucatan. Last but not least, we can also arrange for DJs with disco and other dance music.

Paradise Weddings will find musicians, photographers and videographers that you need to fulfill your multimedia needs for your wedding. Or we will work with ones that you bring. Our advice is to hire the best, so that you can just relax, dance and enjoy your special day!

Our preferred videographer is Norberto O. Bermúdez, of In Acqua Images. He has been in Playa del Carmen since 2001, producing videos for advertising, TV shows, documentaries, and weddings. Norberto has over 15 years experience in video and always gives the utmost attention and care to capturing those precious memories. He uses state of the art technology and will give you a DVD of your wedding video.
